Cassie Forrest isn't surprised to learn that the day she’s decided to get her life together is also the day the world ends. After all, she’s been on a self-imposed losing streak since her survivalist parents died: she’s stopped painting, broken off her engagement to Adrian and dated a real jerk. Rectifying her mistakes has to wait, however, because Cassie and her friends have just enough time to escape Brooklyn for her parents’ cabin before Bornavirus LX turns them into zombies, too.

This is difficult enough, but Cassie’s tag along ex-boyfriend and her friend’s bratty sister have a knack for making everything, even the apocalypse, more unpleasant. When the two attract a threat as deadly as the undead to their safe haven, Cassie’s forced to see how far she’ll go to protect those she loves. And it’s a lot farther than she’d anticipated. This, coupled with Adrian’s distant voice on Safe Zone Radio and, of course, the living dead, threaten to put Cassie right back into the funk she just dragged herself out of.

Survival’s great and all, especially when you have leather armor, good friends and home-brewed beer, but there’s something Cassie must do besides survive: tell Adrian she still loves him. And to do that, Cassie has to find faith that she’s stronger than she thinks, she’s still a crack shot and true love never dies.

My first novel, UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD, is a mixture of post-apocalyptic, zombie, women's and suspense fiction. I'm currently working on the sequel, AND AFTER.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I now live in Oregon with my family and, in my opinion, not nearly enough supplies for the zombie apocalypse.
But I'm working on it.

So I am completely and utterly obsessed with ANY zombie, post-apocalyptic, horror, or survival story and Until The End of The World is ALL of the above!! WOW! I really wish I had read this story sooner! It was incredible!!!

The characters in this book are so full of emotion and their will to survive is just breathtaking! The main character Cassie goes through so much heart ache and still comes out a survivor. She and her closest friends somehow survive after the Bonavirus LX was released into the world. The government tries to separate the states that are affected by bombing bridges and entries into large cities. Cassie and her friends manage to escape and begin their journey to the only place they can think of that might be safe for them to wait out the virus which is her dad's cabin that is deep in the woods. Her dad was a survivalist and had planned for something like this to happen. He had prepared the cabin with enough food, water, and shelter for someone to survive for years.

"Until the end of the world,"I whisper down the empty hall.
"And after," Penny whispers from behind me.
I turn and smile. When I was a little girl I would argue with my parents about who loved how more. As big as the universe, we'd say. Forever and a day. Infinity plus one. Until the end of the world and after. Right now it seems fitting.

One of Cassie's friends, Nelly, is one of my favorite characters in this story. He is so full of life and spunk. He brings out the best in Cassie and stands by her through so many trials. This group of friends have to overcome so many hardships and betrayals on their journey to safety.

Of course their is plenty of romance throughout the story between this group of friends which at times was wonderful and at times almost ended them. Their are so many heartbreaking moments and also plenty of intense action scenes. I mean WOW...I found myself clenching my teeth at certain moments. So INTENSE!!!

If you enjoy an intense survival story with characters that are full of passion and a strong will to survive then this story is for you! I cannot wait to read the next installment to see where everyone has ended up and where life has taken them!!
