Shelly Crane did not disappoint! I loved the Significance series and I was so excited to read Wide Awake! It was wonderful just as I thought it would be! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wake up one day and remember nothing about your life?
This book tells the story of Emma who had a terrible accident and was in a coma. Everyone thought she would die but one day after 6 months she woke up. The reader learns about Emma's life along with her. She could not believe the things she learns about who she use to be. Emma tries really hard to be the girl that everyone wants her to be but quickly realizes that is not who she is anymore. Emma has a strong connection with her physical therapist, Mason.
The relationship that develops between them is passionate and fresh! It made me want to get a tattoo, read the book and you will understand! Mason was so sweet and did everything he could to help Emma.
When the reader and Emma finally learn the events that took place on the night of her accident it was shocking! This was a great book and I would highly recommend it to anyone! I give it 5 stars!
