Fiction Addiction Book Tours, Review, & Giveaway: Taken By Love (Melissa Foster)

Taken by Love Tour Banner

TakenByLove-JAKE_FINAL-2-17-14-266x400Daisy Honey fled Trusty, Colorado, after years of battling rumors sparked by her gorgeous looks and lust-inducing name. Now a physician on the brink of a promising career, she reluctantly returns home when her father is injured in a farming accident. Daisy expects the small-town girls who hurt her in the past to take cheap shots again—but she’s completely unprepared for a run-in with tall, dark, and wickedly sexy Luke Braden, the only man who has ever stood up for her—and the man she’s never forgotten.

Luke Braden is handsome, wealthy, and the best damn gypsy horse breeder in the Midwest. After a restless youth, he’s finally ready to settle down—only connecting with women is nothing like connecting with horses, and he’s never met a woman worth the energy. After an arrest in a neighboring town, Luke’s past comes back to haunt him, and he realizes that his inability to find love runs deeper than he ever imagined.

A chance encounter sweeps Luke and Daisy into a world of passion. For the first time ever, Luke feels a connection, but Daisy’s life in Trusty is anything but permanent, and Luke can’t manage a future until he puts his past to rest.

Another amazing Braden love story!!! This family just keeps getting better! This time the reader gets to meet some of the Braden cousins that live in Trusty...I mean how cute does a town named Trusty sound!!! Daisy Honey faced some harsh gossip in high school and she vowed to never live in Trusty after graduating. Daisy went to med school and had job offers in two big cities but her daddy got hurt and she was needed back home. She told herself it was only for a couple of weeks but then she ran into Luke Braden...the one good memory from high school! Will Daisy and Luke just have a HOT fling or will one of them change their life plans?! If you liked any of Melissa Foster's other books then you will LOVE this one! I give it 4 stars!

  1. I am always drawn to books like this set in those cozy small towns and who can resist a sweet little romance? Thanks for the giveaway chance.

  2. Like Heidi, I also like readings set in small towns. They always come off better than most actually are, I suppose. Like Daisy in the story, I vowed never to return to live in my hometown (which I did for a brief period of about 7 1/2 months, but I was working an hour away and didn't really go anywhere in my town, always other towns) ... and I vowed after many too many failed relationships of friends being with someone from our hometown that I would never date somebody from our hometown and get in all that hot mess drama that always ensues....and lookie here, three years later I'm engaged to my hit-and-missed high school sweetheart. Now THAT's a story! haha
